Biomass Power Case Study

Sustainable Energy Ltd acted as the main project consultant on the development of the Western Wood energy 14 MWe biomass power plant in Port Talbot, South Wales. Sustainable Energy Ltd advised the client from its conception, through initial key stages of feasibility, business planning, sourcing and securing grant funding, wood fuel contracts the submission and securing planning permission and supporting preparation of IPPC documents. The project was then awarded to Turn Key contractor and operates as Wales first and only biomass power plant.
