G24 Innovations wished to investigate the possibility of installing a wind turbine on site to reduce demand for imported electricity, therefore reducing expenditure and carbon output and increasing green credentials.

The wind turbine solution comprised a 120 metre 2.3MW turbine, located on site at G24 Innovations.

Benefits to the client

The wind turbine is expected to save 2,549 tonnes of carbon emissions per year and notably reduce electricity expenditure for G24 Innovations. The client's business is the production of renewable energy products and has further enhanced its green profile by generating renewable wind energy to aid in the production of renewable energy goods.
